LIGHTS IN VEGAS

LIV is our youth ministry which is about raising up the next generation, empowering them to use their creative gifts and talents to impact their world.  LIV services are exciting and contemporary, held in a youth center designed especially for teens in grades 6-12.  For information on upcoming events check out the LIV Facebook page or call (702) 645-1990 EXT 132.

LEADERSHIP

Pastor Andy Visser has been serving the Lord in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1982. Receiving Christ at 19 years old, he became consumed by the call of God to tell others about Jesus. So he knows what it’s like, getting to know Christ as a teenager. “It’s important to teach each age group at their level and deal with issues that are facing them. We speak on their level and talk of their issues.”

Pastor Andy believes that everyone has been created with a divine destiny no matter their beginnings or how dark their past. His humorous approach to ministry has touched men, women and young people from all walks of life. In his spare time he enjoys being married to his beautiful wife Caitlyn and a dad to his 3 sons. He also enjoys people, cooking, good action movies and working out. Pastor Andy is passionate about seeing this youth ministry grow and seeing the youth take ownership of their church and youth group to further advance it and see more of their peers come to know Christ.

“Our ministry is a multi cultural group with an interesting dynamic. We have kids who’s choice style of music ranges from rap, to country, to rock, and worship. Prejudice has no place in our ministry and I’m just so thankful for this mix of young people.”

  • You should come I think you would have a lot of fun. You meet people, learn about God in a fun way. It will change your life in    good way.
  • This group is fun! We get in the Holy Ghost a lot, we really get into God, the songs are good and the people there are nice
  • The youth ministry is always pumped and excited for Jesus, this is just not your typical church we always turnin up for Jesus, dancing and singing, we have activities so we are never bored
  • The youth ministry means to me, when a group of people gather together to do activities and to learn about the lord Jesus Christ. You have a chance to have fun but there is a point where you have  to not mess around

Word of Life Christian Center

Word of Life Christian Center is a non-denominational, multi-cultural church for all people, committed to worshipping God in Spirit and truth, reaching Las Vegas and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ, and teaching believers who they are in Christ and equipping them to serve their generation in the power of the Holy Spirit.
